Dr. Timberlake

My name is Dr. Timberlake, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both the states of Texas and Missouri. I received my bachelor’s degree at Pittsburg State University in 2015. I received my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Webster University in 2019. I achieved a second master’s degree in Philosophy at Walden University. I also achieved a doctorate in Forensic Psychology from Walden University.

In 2018, I began counseling clients of all ages. During that time, I worked part-time at a private practice in Kansas City, Missouri called New Hope Counseling Center. I also worked as a Family and Youth Specialist for the University of Kansas Hospital where I worked with children between the ages of 4 to 18. As a Family and Youth Specialist, I developed a working knowledge of childhood trauma and how to conduct psycho-educational therapy groups to support each patient’s treatment plan. From 2019 to current, as a LPC-Associate and now a fully Licensed Professional Counselor, I have gracefully gained the experience and ability to provide counseling services to a variety of populations, including juveniles and adults who are involved with the judicial system.

As a counselor, I will provide an empathetic, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment for my clients. I will help individuals process and manage their anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns and additional mental health difficulties. I hope to be a resource to help my clients break their cycle of pain and discover their inner strength by setting goals to achieve lifelong happiness. Altogether, I will help you, your children and adolescents elicit positive change and thrive in your life and relationships.

Kiera H.

My name is a Kiera Hill. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas and a Nationally Certified Counselor with experience providing therapy and assessments across a variety of clinical settings. Since beginning my career in 2016, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting individuals with emotional and behavioral concerns, mental and physical disabilities, and substance use challenges. My background includes crisis intervention, outpatient counseling, and work with justice-involved populations, with a focus on providing ethical, client-centered care.

As a counselor, my primary goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their challenges and work toward healing. I aim to help individuals build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and foster self-awareness. I specialize in helping clients navigate a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and emotional trauma. Additionally, I provide support for individuals dealing with behavioral issues, low self-esteem, and interpersonal struggles. My approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs, and I use a combination of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-focused interventions to facilitate positive change. I am dedicated to empowering clients to overcome obstacles and lead fulfilling, balanced lives.

Katrina provides trauma-informed therapy in a warm, grounded, and collaborative setting. She works with adults navigating the effects of trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions.

Her work is grounded in trauma-informed care and includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting, alongside cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused strategies. Katrina is attentive to each client’s pace and readiness, emphasizing stabilization, emotional regulation, and the development of internal and external supports before engaging in deeper trauma processing.

Katrina values reflective practice and ongoing professional development and is currently completing doctoral studies in leadership with an emphasis on trauma-informed systems and sustainable wellness. She practices under supervision as she works toward independent licensure and is committed to ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care.
