Jay Timberlake
My name is JacQue’ Timberlake (I go by Jay), and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both the states of Texas and Missouri. I received my bachelor’s degree at Pittsburg State University in 2015. I received my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Webster University in 2019. I am also currently achieving a doctorate in Forensic Psychology from Walden University.
In 2018, I began counseling clients of all ages. During that time, I worked part-time at a private practice in Kansas City, Missouri called New Hope Counseling Center. I also worked as a Family and Youth Specialist for the University of Kansas Hospital where I worked with children between the ages of 4 to 18. As a Family and Youth Specialist, I developed a working knowledge of childhood trauma and how to conduct psycho-educational therapy groups to support each patient’s treatment plan. From 2019 to current, as a LPC-Associate and now a fully Licensed Professional Counselor, I have gracefully gained the experience and ability to provide counseling services to a variety of populations, including juveniles and adults who are involved with the judicial system.
As a counselor, I will provide an empathetic, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment for my clients. I will help individuals process and manage their anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns and additional mental health difficulties. I hope to be a resource to help my clients break their cycle of pain and discover their inner strength by setting goals to achieve lifelong happiness. Altogether, I will help you, your children and adolescents elicit positive change and thrive in your life and relationships.
Lydia Joiner
Kiera Hill
My name is Lydia Joiner and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I received my bachelors degree at Tarleton State University and my masters degree in counseling at Sam Houston State University. I began my career as a school counselor in 1999. My years of experience as a high school counselor can help give a unique perspective to your healing process. I also compete with my dogs and understand the special needs of those competing in different venues. Also, competing allows me to understand personally how anxiety can stop you from reaching your goals!
I enjoy helping people grow, overcome adversity, move forward, and meet their goals. My strengths are helping people to navigate anxiety, grief, and mental management for competitors. When clients no longer need me, that is my proudest moment. It is my firm belief that the best therapists join their clients on their journeys and listen far more than they speak. One of my biggest strengths is connecting people, actively listening to their stories, offering non-judgmental support and guidance, and using humor as a way to heal.

I later joined the STAR Kids program at Aetna, conducting evaluations for individuals with mental and physical disabilities. In 2024, I began providing outpatient counseling for adult probation clients with substance abuse issues at Dallas County’s Community Supervision and Corrections Department.
As a counselor, my primary goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their challenges and work toward healing. I aim to help individuals build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and foster self-awareness. I specialize in helping clients navigate a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and emotional trauma. Additionally, I provide support for individuals dealing with behavioral issues, low self-esteem, and interpersonal struggles. My approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs, and I use a combination of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-focused interventions to facilitate positive change. I am dedicated to empowering clients to overcome obstacles and lead fulfilling, balanced lives.
